Arkham Horror (Third Edition)

The year is 1926, and the Roaring Twenties are in full swing. Flappers dance until dawn in smoke-filled speakeasies, drinking liquor smuggled in by rum runners and the mob. It’s a time of celebration and excess in the wake of the war that was meant to end all wars.

But a dark shadow looms over the city of Arkham. Alien entities known as the Ancient Ones lurk beyond space and time, writhing at the thresholds between worlds. Occult rituals must be stopped, and nightmarish creatures must be vanquished before the Ancient Ones turn our world into their ruined dominion.

Only a handful of investigators stand between Arkham and total devastation. Will they succeed in holding back the coming horror?

Arkham Horror (Third Edition) is a cooperative board game for one to six players, where each takes on the role of an investigator fighting to prevent the Ancient Ones from breaking into our reality. Based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, players must gather clues, battle terrifying monsters, and seek out tools and allies if they hope to stand a chance against the eldritch horrors lurking just beyond the veil of existence.
