Suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction configuration in 4 different options (non-ducted, partially and fully ducted recirculation or ducted extraction). Installation accessories for non-ducted recirculation, including four cleanAir odour filters and a telescopic sliding element, are included with the cooktop. The included accessories enable easy and quick installation and can be planned for all table depths ≥60 cm. For other types of installations, one of the following accessory kits is recommended: HZ9VDKR0 for partial recirculation in worktops with a depth of ≥70 cm and a maximum worktop height of 960 mm. HZ9VDKE1 as a starter kit for ducted extraction in worktops with a depth of ≥60 cm.
To complete the fully ducted extraction or to perform any other individual recirculation planning, different duct accessories are available.
Installation is possible in island as well as wall-orientated configurations.
The product and its accessories comply with the needle flame test (according to IEC 60695-11-5) and building material class B1/B2 (according to DIN 4102-1).
The maximum immersion depth is 223 mm under glass for top-mounted appliances and 227 mm for built-in appliances.
There must be free access to the appliance from below (e.g. to access the lower liquid fuse collector).
A false floor under the cooktop with integrated downdraft ventilation system is not required. The drawers and/or shelves in the base cabinet must be removable. The rear panel of the base cabinet can be retained - only a cut-out is needed for the air outlet (location and size are specified in the installation instructions).
Installation kit HZ9VRUD0 for recirculation without supply air requires a vertical opening of min. 25 mm behind the rear panel of the furniture. Suggested for ideal performance is 50 mm.
The minimum worktop thickness is 16 mm for top-mounted and built-in appliances with the standard installation system.
The total weight of the appliance is 26 kg - the load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of very thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. The total weight of the appliance and the worktop manufacturer's specifications for structural integrity must be taken into account.
For partially ducted and non-ducted recirculation extraction installations, a return flow opening of ≥400 cm² must be provided in the plinth area. The opening can be realised via outlet grilles, louvre grilles or subtly shortened plinths depending on the kitchen furniture manufacturer's range.
The air outlet on the rear of the appliance can be reached directly with a flat duct element (DN 150).
The pressure loss-resistant fan allows for longer and more complex ducts of up to 8 metres with three 90° arcs while maintaining sufficient performance.
In the duct extraction configuration, a one-way damper (or backflow preventer) with a maximum opening pressure of 65 Pa must be installed.
