Fold the support legs out and connect between the filter system and return pipe – this all that needs doing to start heating the bathing water in your garden pool up by 5° c.

With a SolarBoard, you will quickly bring the bathing water in the garden pool up to a pleasant temperature. SolarBoard can increase the water temperature by up to 5°C, depending on the number of hours of sunlight and the strength of the sun. The solar heater is especially suitable for small garden pools with a filter system, and can be installed individually or as several connected together.

The support legs of the SolarBoard ensure it has an optimal angle of 30° in order to attract the most heat-generating rays.

How the SolarBoard works
When the cold water passes through the internal piping, it is heated by the sun's rays and then heads back to the garden pool. The heating depends on the number of hours of sunlight and the strength of the sunlight, as well as the water flow rate.

Retain the heat at night and on grey days
We recommend the use of a by-pass kit set (1572) and summer cover with a thermal function in order to minimise the loss of heat A by-pass kit allows you to direct the water past the solar heater at night and on grey days when the sun is not so powerful. If the heated water passes through the solar heater at night, it will quickly be cooled down again, and then you will start all over again the next day.

It is also a good idea to protect the surface of the water with a thermal cover, in order to reduce the heat loss from there. And the more shelter you can give the garden pool the better. The wind also helps to cool the water.

When connecting multiple SolarBoards together you must also use a by-pass kit set.
