The DeWalt DCM848N-XJ Dual Action Polisher is the perfect cordless solution for polishing jobs, powered by a powerful brushless motor to prevent it from stalling under heavy use. To achieve the best possible finish, the DCM848 features a freely rotating drive to stop the pad when too much pressure is applied, 15 mm travel to remove more material in less time, variable speed control, and the 18V XR battery rotates 90° to avoid contact with the surface. Trigger switch lock enables continuous fatigue-free operation, ergonomic gearbox lever increases user control, precision and comfort, and a Velcro backing disc allows for quick and easy polishing disc changes. The back disc has a diameter of 125 mm, 2000-5500 RPM, the polisher itself weighs 2.5 kg, battery powered and with variable speed trigger allows for additional speed control by adjusting the force applied to the switch.
