This product is a connected product covered by the EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854), which came into force in September 2025
The Data Act sets out rules for fair access to and use of data from connected devices and cloud services.
The aim is to give both consumers and businesses greater control over the data their devices generate and to promote innovation, competition and data sharing in the EU
Among other things, the Act will ensure that:
- connected products in the EU allow for fair data sharing;
- users can freely choose and switch between services;
- businesses have easier access to operational data from devices to increase efficiency;
- and unfair contract terms that hinder data sharing are prohibited
